I am currently exploring different media to incorporate in my landscape drawings/ paintings. Experimenting with ink on paper is so much fun. The looseness of the water and ink really got me engaged with the drip and splash application. The ink wash clearly defines the leaves, stem, branches and sections of the roots, all forming a complete body united in its rightful way. I applied pencil marks to refine certain sections of the tree to create the illusion of depth. Patterns, design and texture came into play to create the subtlety and three dimensionality the tree exhibits.
